TheGreek Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I think that Status do a 0.30 set. If you can find them Trace Elliott used to do a 0.30 too. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Trace-Elliot-Bass-Guitar-Strings-Extra-Light-Gauge-New-boxed-/281722946159?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4197ff026f A tenner??? Sonic_Groove Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 (edited) Status do a 25 on the six string sets so you could make 25,35,55,75 say for an A to C bass? Edit they actually do a 20 in the custom double ball range. B Edited June 17, 2015 by Sonic_Groove Quote
BassBus Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Status do custom sets so you can chose any gauge you want down to .25 Quote
molan Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I've got 30-90's on my Streamline and really like them. They seem to kinda fit the whole 'ethos' of the bass, lol Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Wow ! A lot of info here alteady;) I was thinking back, when I got both of my headless basses setup, they never had any light gage strings. I used to always go for the heaviest gage for years . Then , when I got my vester fretless ( which is not headless), I want everything as light as possible . I have no idea, what gage they are. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 You are right. I did try that at first, but poxy spellchecker stopped me Quote
30507090 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Speak to Jason at Rotosound for FM66 double ball ends. 30/50/70/90. Exactly what Mark King has. Rotosonds are one of the best... Quote
