That's a great recording & sound from your bass. Are you using the stock Gut-a-likes that I think come as standard on Dukes? I've been looking at the Swingmasters, though I play pizz rather than slap. Whatever they are, they sound like the real deal.

I ditched the gut-a-likes pretty fast as I didn't like them,these are blast cult tone mongers & I really like them.
low tension steel E & A with plain gut D & G.
