Yamaha BB1100S, made in Japan in 86. I bought this last July from MrMcgoo of this fine parish and it is a superb bass but due to a recent purchase, this must be moved on.

As far as I can tell, everything on the bass is original. The photos show Schaller straplocks but I will put the ones that came with the bass back on.

Active/passive, 3 band eq, newish d`darrio round wounds fitted. Weight is around 8 3/4 pounds and it is 43mm at the nut.

There are a couple of cracks, the worst one on the body and one on the headstock. They have not gotten any worse since I have owned and gigged it and the previous owner reckoned they had been there for years. There is some other dings on the body and at the end of the headstock but it has been gigged for nearly 30 years and is "roadworn" so please dont expect a pristine instrument.

A good condition version of this goes for £300 + but due to the condition (which in no way effects it playability) I am looking for £240 collected. Postage could be arranged but would be extra, UK only. I would much rather collection/meet up in the Central Scotland area so you could check it out yourself.

The only trade I would be interested in would be a bass head of similar value. Any questions, ask away. Link to the previous sale below.

This bass has been withdrawn. Im not sure that the small splits in the headstock are stable so in case they aint, Im gonna keep it and use it as a back up.

Still a great sounding bass though.
