Post it on some Facebook pages. I'd suggest the Perth music gear for sale page

And if there's similar ones around where you are too.

Check your local pawn shops too (cash converters, etc).

This is the Edinburgh/Glasgow one:

Definitely check local Crack Converters, and maybe Greenside Car Boot on Sunday as well.

Hope you get your stuff back.

Jon.

I hate this. I had a Yamaha bass nicked once. Most pawn shops don't ask any questions when they get offered good stuff for pennies and if they are a chain store there's a good chance your gear will end up in another shop far away from where you live.
I will have around my way. Good luck.

I had a similar opinion to this until recently when I watched a documentary on Cash Converters. I was surprised that they called the cops on a guy trying to shift a stolen phone and did several checks to confirm the authenticity of a Gibson Les Paul.

Also, each branch of this chain is actually a franchise, and it appears they had to shift everything they took in themselves - though they had someone whose job it was time list specialist items on EBay so they got top dollar on it.

Sadly, this is the about the 5th of these I've heard of this year. Certainly I know of 3 in the north west, in a very short space of time.

It is a hard, costly, lesson to learn.
One of our gaytartists always leaves his gear in his car, it's only a matter of time sadly.

Doesn't matter how hard it's pissing at 2am on a Sunday, my van gets unloaded.

I hope you get gear back, I'm keeping an eye in the NW for you.
