fretmeister
The EQ on the LH series is NOT flat when all the controls are at 12.
Skybone
But they are on the HA's. Had a bit of a play with the B3 plugged in yesterday & created a new patch without an amp sim (boost/reverb/compressor). Still quite chuffed with the rig, spent a fair bit of yesterday looking at cabs! Edited June 22, 2015 by Skybone
Sparky Mark
I've owned one of the original mosfet 3500 for nearly 20 years and then bought an LH1000. I sold the LH1000 after a short while because I couldn't get on with the passive fender style tone stack. The HA series are much more flexible in my experience. Never played one of the newer bipolar versions but the ones with mosfet stated on the front face are loud!
Graham
I found Ampeg cabs sounded really good with Hartke. This is my old Hartke HA1000 into an Ampeg SVT410HLF I had the graphic switched off and used the studio's Neve pre-amp in the FX loop instead, had a Tubetech compressor there as well and a Sansamp BDDI infront of the amp. http://youtu.be/dDqGqeHolJM Edited June 25, 2015 by Graham
urbanx
I love my HA3500. My two anecdotes to prove the love: I wrote off an Audi A3 in a horrific crash with my HA3500 on board, it was pulled from the wreckage and was fine. The last gig I played was an outdoor tent, no mic or DI for me, just head and cab (Marshall 4x10 600w) and I got a noise complaint from some Police officers in Alconbury. Which I was quite proud of as the amp was in Sawtry Edited June 30, 2015 by urbanx
