TheGreek
Would match Wayne's trainers perfectly - yes, BC is a little bit more je ne sais quai without Wayne...

BigRedX
Is that actually a Wilson bass? Looks like something cobbled together from various parts including some (scratch plate, bridge, knobs and neck plate) off a 60s Wilson, but the rest looks very much late 70s early 80s. rushbo
Very cool. But...it may just be the angle of the photographs but the action looks hand cripplingly high and the G string looks very close to the outer edge of the neck...
paul j h
I can remember drooling over the Wilson guitars in the old "Bells" catalogues many moons ago. I don't like the refinish on this one though!

Kev
Lets not turn it into one of those threads, folks Have to agree, that bass looks like it may be horrific to play in its current setup. Kinda cool, though
Bassassin
I miss Wayne too, cool fella & from my old neck of the woods (Medway Tahns), but as is the way of such things, must now never be spoken of. This bass, on the other hand, looks like a dog's breakfast, and has been knocking around Ebay unsold for months. I think it's a much-modified (some might say mutilated) example of the natural wood finish bass you'll find halfway down this page. Jon. Bassassin
It's no coincidence that "Vimto" is an anagram of "vomit". J.
