Sibob
No brief, no 'I want to sound like', just your instant reaction....... Comment AFTER you vote Si
Kev
B3K Although when that MXR comes out I will be giving it a go
The Badderer
B3K also!
Chiliwailer
Chose B3K as I know and love it. Never did like MXR overdrives/ distortions, just their other pedals. Hope the new one changes my mind. Never tried the Cog.
Sibob
I guess it only really works if you've tried them all (which is unfair on the MXR a little as it is very new). Was simply interested in what blendable distortion people preferred. Si

Sibob
Bass big muff.
Fuzz, doesn't count Plus the blend is flawed until you mod it, bad times! Si
verb
The B3K is very good but the TK421-X just has so much more
Ghost_Bass
B3K just because i have one and i love it so much i don't feel the need to try anything else. It has the drive sound i've allways wanted.
This: http://basschat.co.u...-feedback-mods/ I chose B3K. Even though it's blend is flawed too IMHO! Moreso on the B7K though, since that is the kind of pedal that you might wish to use direct into a power amp, but you can't get enough juice out of it because the volume control only affects the dirt level! With the right bass/rig, the B*K sounds amazing for modern/agressive sounds and there's nothing like it. Rats are cool, I love my Blower Box, but if having to choose one I'd probably have to select the Darkglass. Cameronj279
Never used the COG but unless it seriously impressed me (which I don't doubt it probably would!) B3K is my choice
Kev
I didn't think the MXR was out yet, but it has 3 votes??
Guest FretNoMore
I lean towards lower gain sounds which the MXR seems to be able to do (sort of) and it gets rave reviews on other sites so I'd like to try that one. Second choice would be the Cog, I like my Grand Tarkin so the TK-421 would be interesting too. The modern metal sound of the B3K is not my thing at all so I'd pass on that one - I don't really like any of the Darkglass pedals, which is probably a form of heresy to some. Byo
B3K all the way. I have the "vintage" Finnish version and it still blows me away.
