obbm
Let us know what you want done, we are at your service.
Whilst I can fully understand the reasoning behind not allowing public responses to Wanted Posts it seems ludicrous to stop the originators deleting their own posts. For example, in my case, I've changed my mind. I would have thought that the Mods have more than enough to do without having to undertake such a simple administrative task. It's just plain daft or is it something to do with control.
wateroftyne
I'm guessing it's neither, and it's just a limitation of the software.
icastle
I'm guessing it's neither, and it's just a limitation of the software.
It is. The forum software doesn't differentiate between a 'write request' and setting a 'delete flag' - both are seen as an update to the database entry. All the FMs and GMs know how to make a post disappear, so just PM an online one or hit the 'Report' button and we'll zap it.
