Mark Ronson Bass player at Glastonbury 2015

Thought Ronson wasn't much of a guitarist and the rest of the band were a bit meh, but the bass player.....funky as! Who is it?

I didn't see it but Stuart Zender used to play bass for Ronson.

Quite a strong gospel background by the looks of things. I heard a bit of the set on the radio today and it sounded great - must check it out properly later.

His left hand technique is superb, he looks like he's barely fretting the note and his hand just dances over thr fretboard.

I watched his set expecting something a bit special, but was slightly disappointed TBH. Too many 'special guests' for it to flow. The bass player was very good though.

For me Jay Bratten stole it. The rest was so so. I get what they were trying to do, but it needed a stronger (maybe gospel) drummer and more organic feel.

wow, I'm listening to Mark Ronson's version of Valerie at Glasto and the bass is incredible. Jay has such a great groove and his playing is really tasteful!

Exactly what i thought when i watched it.
Jay was classy though. Would've died on its arse without him IMO
