Dad3353
Aha..! Dramatic..! Pause for thought. This may take a while to sink in... ( ... Diminishing sounds of plodding steps and stubble-stroking... "Hmm... Orchestral..? Big beat..? Freeform jazz..? Folk guitar..? Nah; I need to reflect over a cup of tea and a biscuit or three...")
BirchTree
Nice picture! I particularly enjoy surrealist, "dreamscape" themes, so I'm seriously looking forward to what everyone composes this month. (To be honest, a small part of me was worried that the elephant picture might show up, in which case I'd need to ransack a music shop of all its heavy brass)

Dad3353
I may be onto something; I've a 'work in progress', using a couple of new 'toys'. An odd 'zone' for me to be in; the result may be utter ****, but I'll be hard pressed to know..! This heat is helping, indirectly, as I've tons of stuff to do in the garden and around the house, but I'm taking the advice given to old folks and keeping physical activities to a strict minimum. This doesn't extend as far as putting the kettle on, though, so I do get a fair bit of exercise. Back soon... ( ... potters off to start yet another brew, humming tonelessly ...) Another day, maybe, once I've exhausted the current stuff. I've a whole raft of RX2 files that can be converted, too, so there's scope for expanding it myself. As for the videos, my sleepless nights need this kind of stuff. I've already gone through the Trilian bunch (and even imagine that I understood some of it..! ), so I'll while away a few small hours in study. Leonard Smalls
To paraphrase Sally Webster in Coronation Street (she was talking to Kevin): I don't know what I've been doing all day but I've come home stupid... Somehow I've managed to do crooning vocals on top of a big beat backing complete with an Indian chant. This one's definitely going to need rolling in glitter, plus 3 coats of varnish and a hand-carved presentation box!
