badboy1984 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Anyone encounter the unit not power on after 30sec? Bought the unit used and got it today. First tried the pedal power on but then cut off after 30sec.the power supply is not original and the boss power supply i tried also does the same thing. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I got mine brand new when it came out. Over time, i found the expression pedal git stiff and squeaky. Playing live, when switching fir a couple of bassic presets they ofyen got stuck and sounded badly distorted. Even when going through the presets , they ofyen get stuck. I would say get rid, or just use at home . Quote
badboy1984 Posted July 1, 2015 Author Posted July 1, 2015 The thing bad thing is i got rid of my mxr m80 for this because it hv di. Looks like is a bad idea ...... Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Have you tried just using batteties. Also, the psu should be 9v. Having said that , you could take it to a music sop and test unit if youwere to buy a new psu. Btw do mot put batteries in unit while using mains Quote
icastle Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 You're using too small a power supply. The Zoom needs a 1A supply, the Boss one is probably only 500mA and will power the unit up for a few seconds before the over current protection kicks in and switches it off. Quote
badboy1984 Posted July 1, 2015 Author Posted July 1, 2015 It kinda power on now but the unit stuck with flashing dot and i can't do anything. Quote
