If it could be negotiated down a little more, it wouldn't be a bad price. Finish off the stripping process and assuming the wood was decent a few coats of oil and it might look quite fine.

I don't see what the problem is. It's a P Bass. Fender churn them out in hundreds of thousands. If you don't like this one another more suitable one will be along for sale very soon.

It's a nice looking bass. Were I in the market I might be tempted - but with that upper horn & body finish missing I'd be asking for a lower price. I'd probably refinish it in white or cream (like a vintage white).

Whats confusing is, advert says it's been owned from new but the explanation of the sanding is 'for whatever reason'.
