Sharkfinger
Hi all Please go to http://orangeunsignedact.co.uk/acts/raised-by-wolves and check out the tracks. While you're there, please vote for us! Please then come back here and give your opinions, observations, suggestions, etc. Be as candid and honest as you like, even if it's to say: "my 3 year old plays better bass". I can take it, I'm a grown up: 5 years old Drums done with Hydrogen, all instruments and vocals going straight into a Boss DR-1600 digital multi-track recorder and mixed/mastered on same. TDM
It's not really my type of music, but I can imagine people will like it. The basslines are also pretty cool, not just hammering root notes. Stupid question: How do I vote? Even stupider question: Is that one of those cool model lightsabres you have in your display picture? (You know, the full sized ones that even light up and make noises) Edited August 29, 2008 by thedonutman
Monz
Pretty cool bass when you can hear it in the mix... snare is overpowering everything else by a country mile for my tastes Sinking it back a bit into the mix might bring everything else up a little... A comment or two certainly couldn't hurt, unless they were hurtful, of course! Worth every penny. Not that I'm a geek, you understand. What did you listen to it on? I'm guessing PC speakers and it was actually mostly mixed with PC speakers and it sounded OK. It was a 5.1 surround system and admittedly had a woofer. Will take another listen. This is good feedback, keep it coming! Edited August 30, 2008 by Sharkfinger
Deep Thought
I don't think you can vote until September if I read the Home page correctly. Sounds pretty good to my cloth ears-I'll vote when I'm allowed.

We're currently in the market for one but we're in no great rush and have already done a gig with drums on a backing track.
