Finally finished my 1966 Checker Cab tribute slab. I had alot of fun doing this one and it sounds really epic. The T-Bird bridge pickup really brings plenty of 'roid-rage' to an already aggressive tone. Huge sustain at 22k! Wired to Jazz Bass configuration with high mass bridge and bone nut. Neck was a custom made one piece maple with 7.25" finger board profile. Love it. Totally absurd in every way.

It was some generic thing I found. I wanted something in Chrome. Sounds fantastic though. Cuts through like a chainsaw. Really digging the tone, very unique. At full tilt it all goes to hell with lots of hollow distortion. Entwistle would have loved it.

Will be doing a demo of this one with Seeger valve head. Should be interesting.

Did you take out the thunderbird pick-up?
[/quote] No, I added it after those were taken.
