dincz
The nut on my bass needs filing - or replacing with an adjustable nut. Maybe one of these: http://www.thomann.d...r_nut_bass.htm# A couple of things concern me. First, the angle of the slots in the screws. I assume they're horizontal, which is not the case with a correctly filed nut. Second, unless the screw threads are very tight, there's a possibility of them rattling. Any thoughts, e.g. I worry too much? Kev
Never heard of it in truth. Not much of a hit if it doesn't work out? Spend a little more and get the Warwick ust a Nut I version (which this appears to be emulating). Of course, this will probably be no good for you if you need a 40mm nut! BigRedX
Appears to be made by ABM who have an excellent reputation for their bass bridges.
Woodinblack
I looked at that when I wanted to get a new nut on my Jazz, but I was concerned that there was no specific 'break' point, or it could occur anywhere, which would mean your intonation could be bad, plus there is the rattle aspect, and in the end it just seemed easier to get a tusq nut and file it a bit.
