spiltmilk_2000 Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Hi all, it's a new dawn! Not only am I taking delivery of my new lightweight rig (Aguilar TH500 and two SL112 cabs) but I'm also having my first lesson with a teacher in about 10 years. Anyway I'm pretty excited and had to tell someone who might care as the wife just said "another amp?" I'm particularly looking forward to starting lessons again although a little apprehensive that I'm going to get a complete beasting! Haven't felt this fired up to improve my playing in a long time :-) Wish me luck.... Quote
discreet Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) Good luck and well done. Nice rig. The current mrs discreet always says the same thing which is, 'that's nice, dear'. Edited July 7, 2015 by discreet Quote
karlfer Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Good luck indeed and enjoy it! My wife usually just says "at least it's not another bloody Rickenbacker". Quote
gary mac Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Hope it all lives up to your expectations. Have a very fine day Quote
BassBus Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 If your teacher is at all negative I'm not sure they will be much good as a teacher. The best way to teach is accentuate the positive. At least I think that's what some said. Enjoy the new life. Quote
