Mykesbass Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Something odd going on here: http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/jul/09/dont-play-neil-young-or-the-doors-bbc-tells-djs-and-programme-makers?CMP=twt_gu Quote
Graham Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Interesting, fortunately still available for PRS, so don't need to drop Journey from the set-list. Quote
cybertect Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Hmm. Does this mean the BBC can't show their 1971 Neil Young In Concert show any more? I guess it rules out showing Coppola's Apocalypse Now on the BBC for the foreseeable future too (The Doors' The End featuring heavily during the opening scene)? Quote
Dan Dare Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Could be due to legal wrangles between members of the bands concerned (I know there has been a row between member of The Doors). Quote
