I know it's an unfashionable point of view, but our brothers in riddim can be a little overlooked sometimes. Now, this may be tongue in cheek, but this is from a website of a band we're supporting soon, band name removed:

Haha some drummers deserve that lol. To be fair though so do some bassists, guitarists, singists and keyboard players.

I'm in a band with a spectacularly good drummer - in fact the rest of us quietly agree he's probably the most gifted musician any of us have ever known. Not that we'd tell him though.

And that's also the reason we put up with the fact he's pretty much never available.

Good detective skills, no, sharing a stool with a naked drummer is a most unsavoury thought. I think our guy will bring his own rather than suffer that option...
