discreet Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I'm actually starting to appreciate the black 'n' maple thing... and that's a total bargain. Quote
alyctes Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I do like the 2+3 headstock... not that I play fives, mind you Looks like a good deal! Quote
Woodinblack Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Thats great - I was looking for an ATK805 the other day, there don't seem to be many of those around. Mind you there didn't seem to be many ATKs at all. I tried to buy one on gumtree once but the guy stopped talking. Quote
patrikmarky Posted July 10, 2015 Author Posted July 10, 2015 There's one on eBay through a online shop from Germany I think around £550.00.. Quote

Funky Dunky Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Really nice bass. Those things sound wicked - how are the necks? Quote
ebenezer Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 got the atk 300, and again, a very good bass. Quote
patrikmarky Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 Necks quite "chunky"...which I like in a bass , not your typical ibanez ..its lighter than my USA sub and has so many more options with The active eq ....this is a keeper .. Quote

Naetharu Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Humm this looks really interesting. How does it compare to the Ibanez SR range in terms of tone and feel? I love my SR for its weight and sound but I find the neck is a bit too thin for my hands. Quote
MarshallBTB Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 My favourite ibanez bass, I really miss mine and this has made it worse! Absolute bargain, nice one. Quote
Guest Jecklin Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I have always liked these basses and really enjoyed the sound I was getting when I played one, BUT I just can't get past the aesthetics of the massive bridge, and it has put me off buying one in the past. The price one pays for being shallow. Quote

[/quote] The tonal range is vast especially with the Jazz pup ,it's a chunkier neck compared to the sr I here the necks are thin ..its heavy than the sr I've never tried a sr so can't really advise on tonal comparison...
