It's a Highway 1 in 'Honey Blonde' built in 2003. I already have the Controversial P Special but it has and Aguilar Pre in it and it's just a bit to complex for me , the highway One is much lighter too I like the simplicity of this beast thoug i'm tempted to chuck a jazz neck on it.

That does look good to me - not so sure about the Pickguard. I'd ram the vintage look down throats with a nice aged 'smokers teeth' cream.

Don't treat it like a new born baby and it'll look stunning in a year or two - bit of 'forearm rub' showing - that sort of thing.

The actual pickguard that came with it has aged to a creamy white but it's a got a crack near one of the screw holes....the bass itself did have a few black surface scuffs on the nitro finish, it but they came away with t-cut, so though it does look aged...it's almost immaculate

That's lovely. I'd leave it as it is - non-vintage scratchplate and all. It may look better with a cream 'plate further down the line, though.

There was a sunburst p on the 'bay at the same time for £50 more but i've never been that keen on sunburst....nice J though
