plumbob
Hi all Sorry finally got round to doing this . Been playing for 20+ years . Currently in a 6 piece covers party band for weddings , birthdays , corporate things etc. Also just put a 11/12 piece soul/funk covers band together the line up varies , ( why are brass sections a pain to get together ?) Have had the same basic kit for the last 20 odd years but due to Basschat have purchased a Marcus Miller from jazzbassmm on this very forum. Current gear is Marcus Miller 4 string bass , Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass literally bought the day before the Marcus , funny how things happen, I'd given up on trying to get a Marcus and so found this very nice Squier, and blow me a Marcus Miller turned up the very next day on here. Also have a 1980's Aria Pro ll RSB Deluxe , and a 1977/78 MIA Fender Precision ( Which was my first bass ) So there ya go that's me Cheers Plumbob
neepheid
Welcome to the forum Brass sections are well worth the effort - I've heard some awful bands using MIDI files as background filler instead of going to said effort. Guess what - they sound bad, film at 11.
