Fretless bass guitar necks....

Looking for ideas of where to get hold of fretless guitar necks in UK. Not too much to go on,looking to replace Squier neck for fretless. The usual guy who does the Mighty Mite stuff on e bay doesnt seem to be about..any ideas?

Just keep an eye on Ebay, that's what I've been doing for the last few weeks. Last week a Manson Custom fretless neck appeared, with a not too bad BIN price, so I snapped it up.

The Ebayer you mention did have a fretless on a couple of weeks back.

There was a place in Holland doing some stuff on e bay,again,cant seem to find them...I may have a go myself at defretting,just bought a Squier p bass at bargain basement price!

eyparts in hong kong. I bought a fretless maple board neck from them. Dots are in the wrong place though (same as custom world guitars)

Custom World Guitars don't have anything fretless at the moment as far as I know. I've been after a maple 'board fretless for ages. They told me they're not likely to stock them again. Didn't realise their necks came via Eyeparts (http://www.eyguitarmusic.com). Wonder where they buy from?

The Stratosphere have a few. I've bought quite a few items from them, all good but you may well get hit with duty charges etc.

I have just picked up a custom world guitars maple fretless neck of these pages and am waiting on some more bits to complete the build. It was dumb luck I got it really cos I prefer rosewood!! Very keen to see how it sounds!
