Orange Terror Bass into Barefaced

Anybody got any experience of an OTB into a Barefaced Compact?

This is my current rig. Love it!

As has been discussed at length in many threads the OTB is something of a one-trick pony, but if you like the one trick, you'll be happy. The Compact faithfully delivers the old-school, valve sound.

I still haven’t tired of making just one trip from my car with all of my gear – OTB in it’s case on my shoulder, bass case in one hand and Compact in the other. Soooo much easier (and more powerful!) that the old “amp-4x12-1x15” rig!!

Used Happy Jacks Barefaced cabs with a Terror a couple fof times at gigs. A really good match. Lovely old school beefy sound.
I tried my TC Electronic head through the same cab and it sounded rank.

I have a shedload of really nice kit (literally) but my default, go-to rig for small gigs remains my OTB into a (first generation, no-tweeter, 15") Compact.

Small enough to fit into any space I might need to play in, light enough to carry through or across any likely obstacles, simple enough to be idiot-proof.

Does it sound like a Matamp GT100 through a 610? No.

Does it sound like a Demeter VTB-201 through a Powersoft into an Eden rig? No.

Does it sound really good, and easily good enough for the gig? Oh yes.

Same here but sp 212 cab,head sounds great full stop and loud
