MB Super Synth earth hum

Is anyone out there using one of these? and has anyone found it to cause an earth hum???
I've obviously tried using it without any other pedals but it's still there. if i pull the power supply the hum is gone... (it's true bypass so signal still passes through).

Aye, it's 12V DC and needs 550ma, so be careful if you are...

Or also tried a power socket on a different ring? I used to have one and never had a problem. In da k I powered it just fine form a 9v supply..
