Yeah could you ask him, apparently it was bought in 1990 brand new by Stuart and signed in 06, maybe he gave it to someone? Just waiting for it to arrive.... ;-)

o my jesus god, its amazing...... the neck is a little chunky it'll take a bit of betting used to but i could always shave a bit off...

The sound is glorious...its more like a cello than a bass... a wonderful warm mellow, even melancholy sort of sound.... very musical....

and it pretty good nick for a 25 year old bass!!

Its bubinga, neck is wenge and bubibga, through neck, the sustain on it is ludicrous!!

Very heavy, dense feel...the neck is a little thick for me,

It probably could do with a little tlc and a proper set up but it feels like a proper instrument with a real character. ...

These early Warwick's are gems, hand made and really musical. I have an 86/7NTThumb 6 and its got the best bitch ass B I've ever heard its almost 'digital' if you know what I mean. I think that these basses will be very collectible in coming years and they are undervalued now. Well done you for getting this one.

yeah its funny I wasn't even looking for a Warwick, I have played a fretted on ages ago, sounded a bit dark for me but its a real quality instrument... like you say crafted..... I'm deffo keeping it.... and I like the fact that a funk master used to own it, no pressure on me then!!

I got lucky, bought blind, took a punt.... the bass gods like me!! :)
