Old Peaveys?

[RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE]

Back in the early days of gigging ('80s) I had a peavey head amp. Got it for about £5o iirc.
Great , big and heavy .
A few years down the line , a friend of mine sold his peavy widow( or was it scorpion?) combo to me . All that had was an annoying hum as soon as I switched it on . Sounded good live when he used it . Just not good for home use I guess.
So I sold it. No idea where it was made , but it was cr@p

I've just picked up a valve Classic 60/60 power amplifier but I'm yet to try it..
