Happy Jack
Why do the strings look so "wonky" coming out of the hard-tail?
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
No bids. Ended. It's a semi acoustic ,isn't it ?
alyctes
Why do the strings look so "wonky" coming out of the hard-tail?
Same reason they look wonky coming out of the nut, I guess; hard to fit the ends (tuners, balls) in the same space as the strings themselves. Looks like a semi to me. alyctes
And it's up again: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-string-bass-Waterstone-TP12-12-string-bass-guitar-/301697400784?hash=item463e90ffd0 (No connection to the bass or the seller; I'm just interested because a mate just ordered a Dean Rhapsody 12 from Thomann.) tauzero
There was this in the "You may also be interested in..." bit: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171870458326 Twelve-string bajo sexto (although I think it should be called a bajo duodecto). ras52
I expect the 80/20 rule comes into play here: spend 80% of your time tuning it, and the other 20% playing out of tune
