Grangur Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Isn't that what JH wants? So now you NEED to buy a new one. Coupled with this is you're in a situation that once you've bought your Ricky, you can't sell it "used" anywhere, so having bought your bass it's worthless. Even if I liked one I wouldn't touch one with a barge-pole as I can't afford to write off that kind of money.
Skybone Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Thing is, you can get a really nice old one for the same price as one of Mr Hall's brand-spanking-new ones. Saying that, you are paying a similar price for one that's a few years old. Go figure, as they say. So, given the choice (and if someone gave me the money!), I'd buy a nice older one, or one that's a few years old.
