CMS5H1T
Hi All, I recently bought an Epiphone EB-0 from eBay for a good price... it has been looked after and - the main selling point - came already fitted with a Di Marzio Model One pickup. I've levelled the frets, fitted Grover 142 tuners, CTS/Sprague electrics and La Bella 760M flatwounds... she sounds great and is an absolute delight to play. However, I'd like to increase the bass's versatility by fitting a bridge pickup as on the EB-3. I'm sure many people have done a similar conversion and I'd like to know what mini-humbucker works best with the Model One. I've heard that the TV Jones Thundertron is a good choice. Does anybody have any experience of this combination, or any other suggestions? Of course, I could just throw in an Epi EB-3 bridge pickup, but I don't mind spending a bit more if it will give me a better sound. All thoughts and comments welcome! Colin Edited July 27, 2015 by CMS5H1T

CMS5H1T
Thanks for the links guys. I'd not heard of Catswhisker before, and thanks for your thoughts Meddle... I'm going to have to do some more research on this.
