NBD: Spector Q6

I've wanted a 5 or 6 string to extend the tone range for the covers I do in the band and I got my wish yesterday.

I don't want to slash tons of money for a 6 string and I traded my Musicman SUB 4 stringray (MIA) for this Spector.

I love the 35" scale and the neck is not too thick for a 6 string. It takes abit of time to get use to but I like the bass.

Good score. I had a spector legend sixer for a while as my main bass and it was an excellent instrument.

Whats the different between Legend 6 and Q6? I'm talking about the made in Korea models. I know the Q6 is not discontinue right?

I don't know I'm afraid, someone more knowledgable them me will though and I'm sure they will be along shortly

I think my legend was made in Indonesia... I'll have to investigate.

It was a quality instrument but I beleive the Q6 is a model or two up from the legend.

Q series model was discontinued for the Legend to start around 2003-2004.

I had an NS2000 , the neck through version if the Q, and it was made in Korea with EMG HZ pickups and an EMG BT active circuit.
In fact I've had three of them over the years and bitterly regret selling them!

Machines: Your Q6 with the Halo colour is nice and I like that colour

The Q6 is so nice to play, Is pretty loud unplug as well that I just play without plugin lol.
