Twincam Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Got this little traynor yba 2a combo. For just home use and some recording and I must say it's actually pretty decent. I know there used a lot with guitars but for bass use in the home it's much nicer than I thought it would be. My first all valve amp too. chriswareham Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 There's one of those in a rehearsal room over in Tottenham, North London. Sounds great at lowish volumes, but can't cope with full band rehearsal volumes. Didn't realise it was valve until I saw this thread, I'd assumed it was an early solid state amp. Quote
Twincam Posted August 1, 2015 Author Posted August 1, 2015
There's one of those in a rehearsal room over in Tottenham, North London.
I think the official rating was 24w although some sites say 15w so definitely only a home practice/recording amp for bass. Might get a rehearsal, small gig using it with a guitar however.
