this is just so good. so much space in the music for fills. but i love George's lack of fills in this record. sometimes its not what you play that is special. and Joseph's drumming. ! [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QYbZsBPawI[/media]

Saw The Metermen (three quarters of the original band) in Philadelphia two years ago, and they've still got it, oh yes.

On the other hand, saw the George Porter band play at The Borderline in London last year and left before the end of the gig. Go figure ...

there are so many nuances Roland. yes the drumming.!!! you couldn't not stick with the drummer and leave him all alone. hold it back and sit with him.

Cracking CD altogether that one with the Meters as his backing band pretty muck.
