sellisnba Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 (edited) Just though I would share my NBD. Been after a short scale for a while and stumbled on this. Junior jet 2224 I never thought I would own a gretsch because I've never been much of a fan. Strange what age does to you Sorry for the crappy phone pic Edited August 1, 2015 by sellisnba Quote
Twincam Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Those seem pretty cool. From reviews I've seen there supposed to be canny. Quote
PlungerModerno Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Those do get quite a bit of positive feedback - and can sound huge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiqMsdizcxU Quote
Martin E Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Hi Sellisnba That does do look like good fun.for the money. Any chance of posting a short review once you've got to know it? I'd be curious about weight and neck dive for instance. Just a bit curious over the model number as well I see Thomann list these as G2224 whereas everyone else calls them the G2220? Cheers Martin Quote

chriswareham Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 These are Chinese made hence the affordability, as only the high end Gretsch models are US made. I had the six stribg baritone version of this bass. It was superbly made, and very light. I only parted with it as it doesn't fit sound wise with the band I play in. Quote
