He can be heard on inlayer for half an hour (link below is straight to it). The My 70s feature has always been my favourite but this was something else!

When he tells his Hendrix story the punch line is 'I never saw Hendrix play...but he f@$€ing saw me.' Fortunately he censored himself, or he'd have been in hot water��

I met him briefly backstage at a [i]Man[/i] gig in the 70s... he asked if I wanted his autograph. I politely declined...

Man were/ are a strange band ,from what I remember. They were a bit before my time (I started going to gigs in'79). Wharton do I remember about them?

Didn't hear him on JW's show but I recently revisited some of those old man albums as they are in that 'Original Albums' series where you get a little case of 5 albums very cheaply;

Discreet, if you don't want to bother with Amazon that same box set is about the same price in Fopp if you have one nearby, that's where I got mine.
