I know it's a cliche but I really don't want to sell this but not getting used! So I'll see if there is any interest!

The bass has a Mahogany core with Wenge facings, Indian Rosewood fingerboard with inlaid m.o.p. dot markers, Schaller machineheads and black/chrome custom Wal bridge. The neck is 34" scale/21 frets and of a six-piece laminate construction of Rock Maple, Hornbeam and Amazonian Hardwood. Electronics are the standard x2 Wal pickups with Volume, Blend and two parametric EQ Tone Control pots. There is extra 'pick attack' with the pull up Volume pot and extra focus on selected frequencies with the two pull up Tone pots. The bass also has ¼" and an integrated XLR balanced output, which allows for direct connection to a desk or other balanced input. It is currently strung with 45 - 105 strings.

Good condition for an instrument that's 31 years old!

I have a lot of pics if anyone is seriously interested!

I'm away for a wee cry now...

Ha probably a good thing as i don't think I would get much for them on the black market anyway! Much abused from ale and gigs

This is just like the first Wal I ever saw... When I was at collage a bass tutor call Jack Monck had one just like this and it sounded incredible, even DI'd straight into a ropey old PA.

... mind you he was probably the best player I've ever seen which helped!

Lovely bass GLWTS :)

Lovely looking Wal. Mine, from May 1983, could be its fretless sibling.

Have to say though I never quite get the concept of a Wal and, "not getting used" :-)

I'm being put off selling it now because of all the nice comments. It's a great bass and a looker and if it doesn't sell I'll be okay with it!
