Just an absolutely blinding creative force. Pretty much the only fretless stuff I like is his playing on Graceland.

Is it not time Washburn issued a BK signature b-40?

They could get the Aguilar pickups in and do a fretted version too.

The pickup placement on that bass is very widely spaced so must give something to the sound too - I've seen him playing Modulus, Ken Lawrence and I think a Fender (red MIJ) - maybe an Elrick too, but that original bass is something special.

Washburn need to do it 😁

Dagnammit, just learned that today on Sky Arts, Classic Albums featured Graceland. I've never seen that one, and would lap it up. Need to see if I can get it on demand.
