Joebethell Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Any thoughts on this I like the look 30.2" scale and flats http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/2015/Memphis/ES-Les-Paul-Bass.aspx Quote
ras52 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Wow, this is certainly the season for short-scale GAS! I much prefer it in Faded Darkburst (I was never a fan of gold-tops). If it was a tenth of the price, I'd snap one up in no time! Quote
AndyTravis Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Erm. Looks god awful (proportions are all out) This would work on the 34" les Paul oversized from a few years ago - there simply isn't enough space for all the features on there. It's upset me as it's so near to being right, it's totally wrong. Quote
Naetharu Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Seems very expensive for what it is to me. Then I've never been much of a Gibson fan, but if I was going to spend over 3k on a bass I think there are a lot of other options that I would look toward before that one. Quote
Sonic_Groove Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Crickey you could get a lot of Epi Jack Casady's (The real Les Paul Bass) for that Dollar!!! B Quote
Painy Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I think that looks really nice! Nah.... Only joking,I actually think it looks weird. I was just trying to be controversial Quote
RhysP Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Ghastly looking thing - the Epi Jack Casady is much nicer IMO. Quote
AndyTravis Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 If they just did a Gibson Jack Casady...or reissue the LP signature bass, they'd shift more. The 335 bad was nice - I did covet that a little. Quote
Sibob Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I think they look fantastic, although they're having a laugh with the price. Si Quote
