i am not an insect Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 (edited) Fender 1970s Precision Bass. Serial number 410984 on neck plate dates the guitar at 1974/5 8 digit serial number 01014913 on the neck bottom supports that date. Delano handmade pick ups. Mellow, warm sound with a nice thump. Beautiful tone. Badass Bridge. New pots and wiring. Ultra reliable gig and studio bass. All modifications by professional. Very playable "quick" neck, low action. Fret board and frets in great condition. Body is unashamedly and authentically "road worn" Included in the sale are pick-ups, bridge and covers ("ashtrays") that were on the bass when I acquired it. I believe them to be original parts, but please note I cannot be sure. Tweed case in pics also included in sale. Has been with me for 10 years. Father in law had it before that. A very playable, giggable, wonderful looking, great sounding guitar. Edited August 11, 2015 by i am not an insect

karlfer Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 There should be some printing on the back of the original pick ups. A photo of that would help I think. Lovely bass.
xroads Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 What's the weight? Does the trussrod move in both directions? Thanks!
