Fender 1970s Precision Bass.

Serial number 410984 on neck plate dates the guitar at 1974/5

8 digit serial number 01014913 on the neck bottom supports that date.

Delano handmade pick ups. Mellow, warm sound with a nice thump. Beautiful tone.

Badass Bridge. New pots and wiring. Ultra reliable gig and studio bass.
All modifications by professional.

Very playable "quick" neck, low action. Fret board and frets in great condition.

Body is unashamedly and authentically "road worn"

Included in the sale are pick-ups, bridge and covers ("ashtrays") that were on the bass when I acquired it. I believe them to be original parts, but please note I cannot be sure.

Tweed case in pics also included in sale.

Has been with me for 10 years. Father in law had it before that.

A very playable, giggable, wonderful looking, great sounding guitar.

Hi all,

Pick ups each have six digit number. 170374(red ink)and 180274(black ink). A quick bit of research would suggest they are original pick ups....photo to follow shortly as I can't upload directly from my phone.

Weight is 10.5kg inc case.
Just had the neck off and truss rod does go in both directions.

Ta!!

...well, thanks, I was more interestedi n the weight of the bass itself, as the mid 70s basses vary quite a bit in weight...
