cana.dan
Hi all, Back in March I saw an example of this while I was aimlessly browsing Thomann and fell in love. I had to have it! So I got on to my normal shop and talked about ordering one in, the fateful call came last week and it's now in my possession. Not much to say that you all don't already know. Slab ash body, vintage neck profile with a finished birdseye maple board. Classic 2 band 'Ray preamp. Sounds fat, sounds snappy, sounds like an oldschool 'Ray. Exactly what I wanted. There's also a pleasant surprise, the colour is quite weird. In my photos (probably due to my lack of skill in that department) it really comes across as a deep blue, but in real life it's a lot closer to my dream Music Man colour, Trans Teal (sadly discontinued) Weird! Here's some pics!

alittlebitrobot
That's stunning. So jealous. I've never even played a Musicman, but I have the feeling I'd really like one

MattM
Gorgeous, I'd be tempted to stick a clear scratch plate on that just so you could see more of the finish, would work really well. And we all know how good 2EQ Rays sound...

Subbeh
I'd be tempted to stick a clear scratch plate on that just so you could see more of the finish, would work really well.
Great suggestion, it really is a shame to hide any part of that awesome finish! Congrats, that's a seriously good looking bass, finish is beautiful and that maple is just
