Evening all,

Over the weekend I bought a new scratchplate for my precision. When I ordered it, the online printout claimed it'd fit, but it actually needed some filing and the pot holes were all different sizes, as were both the holes for the split coils. Either way, it was a faff am I'm happy with the end result and want to show it off. So...

That is VERY nice - what is the technical name of that colour?

That is "blue pearl" from Janika's music store, there's a site and an eBay site. It's not overly blue up close, it's quite subtle though in some lights it stands out a little more.

It looks fantastic against the vintage white bass. I have a Squire that's got a tort plate I've been meaning to change - I may have to look into one of these.

It's a sad day to find it now looks vintage white...like finding a first grey hair. 'Twas once a fine Olympic white.

It too is a Squier though, a vintage modified.
