Basscabman
Set up and new strings and man does this bass feel great! The sound Is outstanding! First MM I've owned, always wanted one and really happy with this purchase. It's In MINT condition too, 2 band active EQ, Changed the alluminium scratch plate for a tort one. The bass has some serious grunt. Paid £380 for It! Fender Jazz Is taking a holiday for a while!

goonieman
damn fine basses. Apparently (I can be corrected) the pups are wired in SERIES on these. I had one, but had to sell it because the neck was twisted

Mudpup
I have one of these. Tends to be my main bass ahead of a Sandberg PM4 and a USA MM Sterling. Makes you struggle to get your head around the "cheapest bass is my favourite" syndrome...... Edited August 15, 2015 by Mudpup
mcnach
Nice! That's a LOT of bass for £380! I also have a white one, earlier than yours (yours looks like a 2005-2006, because of the compensated nut). I love it, fantastic bass. It has *nothing* to feel shy about next to a "real" Stingray, which I also own. I put a black scratchplate on mine. The pickup routing is clean on these basses, so they look great without one too! Basscabman
Cheers folks! It's a great bass, according to the MM forum was built September 2006. I was looking to buy a Sterling Ray 34CA because of the jazz like neck on those but after a few days playing this I'm digging the extra width on the neck. But the sound Is just great! casapete
Great basses, had 3 over the years. Best 'bang for the buck' around. Bit on the heavy side for an ageing old gimmer like me, or would still be using one.
