NBD - G&L trade: L2000 out, L2500 in

On a Facebook group yesterday I spotted, an L2500 for sale, I've wanted to pick up a five string for a while, but had planned to wait until bonus season next year to get one. This G&L was remarkably similar to my L2000, but obviously with one extra string. I used to play fives exclusively, but haven't played one regularly for about 8 years, but given how similar this was to my four string, it seemed a safe bet; so my bass went up for sale.

A couple of messages later, Paul, who's Kolossusuk on here, arranged a trade and he left my place this morning with the L2000, leaving the L2500 with me.

And.......I can't put it down, so looking forward to gigging it next weekend

Kids are in bed, wife's in the bath, so I can plug it in now; Uptown Funk is surprisingly much easier to play on a 5 than a drop D 4

Beautiful bass. I got an L2000 for Christmas and shortly after got introduced to five strings. I am coveting a 2500 at the moment
