Absolutely no reason why not.
You'll likely need to fit a new nut, otherwise the strings will not sit nicely in the larger slots.

I've found I'm not keen on C strings on larger frets though

Agreed on all points. One of my fives is strung with a high C and, just to make life a little easier for you (and in case you didn't already know) Warwick make string sets with a high C and, so far as I'm aware, are the only made-up sets available. Happy to be proved wrong. I get mine here:
