Bobs
Hi Just wondering if anyone has fitted a high C string to a stingray
Sibob
Absolutely no reason why not. You'll likely need to fit a new nut, otherwise the strings will not sit nicely in the larger slots. I've found I'm not keen on C strings on larger frets though Si

One of my fives is strung with a high C and, just to make life a little easier for you (and in case you didn't already know) Warwick make string sets with a high C and, so far as I'm aware, are the only made-up sets available. Happy to be proved wrong. I get mine here: http://www.stringsdirect.co.uk/strings-c1/warwick-warwick-5-string-black-label-25-105-high-c-long-scale-bass-strings-p8258

hairychris
I'm running CGCFA on a Sub. Quite a lot of tension on the high A with a 0.045. I imagine that you'll want something quite a bit thinner which may mean a new nut required.
