I bought this bass new from Bass Direct about five years ago (cost me £2,100) and whilst it has done a few gigs the bass is in excellent condition. This really is a stonkingly good bass but as I use my Thumb bass in the covers band I play in, and have my trusty '62 P bass, I thought I would put my Yamaha up to see if there I any interest. Sean Posted March 28, 2016 Share Posted March 28, 2016 (edited) If anyone is looking at this and wishes it had an extra string (I know a lot of you do that kind of thing ), I have an immaculate mint 5-string version in Vintage White with black scratch plate and would be very interested in a kind of 3-way trade as I could do with a second BB2024x.
