Stance
I´m sure that someone has already discussed this, but browsing through old videos on Youtube, I came across this live version of "Stay Together".. Loved Suede (and Bernard Butler´s sound), and its bass player - don´t know it´s name, but I think he did nice supportive and melodic lines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0jVDDbk66E
JapanAxe
Matt Osman Or as Brett was fond of saying, Mad Horseman.

Stance
Right! Thanks! Saw them live last year - still sounded great and tight!
JapanAxe
I saw them twice in 2002. Love their stuff, and used to sing and play 'Filmstar' in a previous band. Collected all their rare tracks on CD singles. Also went to see Brett Anderson on his solo tour, and bought a live double CD shortly afterwards. Pants I'm afraid. The Tears were forgettable too. Stance
I see you´re a die-hard fan I bought their first CD and after Bernard left, I lost hope on the band.. Still, their 1st album is a MUST - nice songs, melodies and basslines!
spongebob
He's been playing an old Rickenbacker 4000 of late. Saw them back in '96 - support was Strangelove - remember them?

paul_5
The album with 'Trash' on it is called 'Coming Up', and it's magnificent.
Hobbayne
Bernard Butler thought he was the bees knees, and too good for the band. He formed his own band McAlmont and Butler Remember them?? Nor do I.

Bassjon
Matt Osman is great. Considering how the guitarists in Suede were very busy and creative with their parts he does a great job of holding it all together. If you like 'Trash' have a listen to Barriers from their new album - its great : )

Billy Apple
I saw Suede walking along Kilburn High Road once. The looked cool as f*** and quite tall as I remember.
