Squire Classic Vibe '60's P-bass Fiesta Red - SOLD*
£200

For sale is my Squire Classic Vibe P-bass in Fiesta Red with rosewood neck and tort pickguard. Pino Palladino vibe and sound for much less than his sig model!

I bought this last year from a girl who bought it and never played it - its as good as new, and I think a 2010 model? No scratches or scuffs. Plays great, currently strung with roundwounds. The neck has a lovely deep grain, looks much too good for a Squire!

Fitted with straplocks, but I can replace with the originals if required.

The Squier Classic Vibe '60s Precision Bass is an electric bass guitar that delivers the true P Bass experience. Big, woody tones jump out from its Custom Split Single-Coil Precision Bass® pickup. The comfort contoured body fits like a glove and looks beautiful. Featuring a 20-fret vintage-style maple neck (rosewood fingerboard) with the modern playability of a 9.5" neck radius and vintage-style frets - you'll have no problem holding down the bottom end and pounding out round thick tones on this bass tone monster!

Classic Vibe!
Back in 1982, the very first Squier by Fender guitars and basses came ringing out of Asia. Known for their excellent vintage-quality look, feel, sound and construction, those early Squier instruments and their Fender-branded counterparts are now highly sought-after collector's items revered by guitar enthusiasts as models of "getting it right" while aiming at value-conscious players. The Squier Classic Vibe Series reflects that simultaneous commitment to excellence, value and 'vibe'. Mirroring classic Fender designs, the Classic Vibe offering is not intended to be era or vintage correct — but rather to impart the "vibe" of a classic Fender design. Each model has a distinctive feature set—all adding up to one classic-looking instrument. Great sound, vintage looks, unbeatable value—Classic Vibe!

Hi there - indeed, I originally changed the Squire pups for Fender CS '62 models; which I am selling seperately. Or can include for an extra £50 :-)

Certainly can post - looking at something like £15-25 in the UK. Let me know if you are interested.

Cheers,

Steve.

The Custom Shop pickups have more depth and warmth. The squires are perfectly fine and sound punchy and fresh. I am tempted to put the '62s in my 99 American P bass - just haven't got around to it yet..

Agree - inbetweeny :-) Not as chunky as my P bass, and not as slim as my J bass.

I am only selling as I just bought a deluxe precision and I just can't play everything all the time!
