TRADED: Roscoe Signature V, buckeye burl, 32"

Hi

As a final step in thinning the herd, one of the jewels of the crown: a top of the line Roscoe Signature, built for Shep of this parish, as many of you know, then part-traded with me.

Link to the previous ad with all info: http://basschat.co.u...-lg-v-32-scale/

It is an utterly beautiful bass, and I've resisted selling it but have to accept it needs to go.

In short: the most compact, lightweight 5-string you can imagine, with extraordinary attention to detail and the finest components. Glockenlang 2-band preamp, Bartolini pickups, active/passive. Strung E to C, string spacing adjustable at the bridge.

Did I say it weighs nothing? Allows for extremely low action, no buzzes, modern sound with added warmth. A work of art all around.

The neck is super slim, really a breeze to play. Comes with a detuner for the E string, a (currently dettached) kingwood ramp, original hard case and papers. All in MINT condition.

Bargain for such an instrument - 2000£!!

Thanks!

Back at a decent price for such a world-class instrument... Lots of people seem to think this is too custom and special - in fact it just plays like a normal 5-string, only easier, lighter and faster.

C'mon boys and girls, show some love for this petite beauty. More natural (less scooped) tone than your average Roscoe thanks to the Glock pre as well!

Will now consider trades (straight or cash my way) FOR Ken Smith, Dingwall or high-end jazz 5-string basses

I don't know why, but this really appeals to me. It's not got the number of strings or scale length to suit me... But still I keep getting drawn back to this. I imagine it plays like butter!
