Lauzon P-Bass/Strat Pickups

I've heard some murmurings about this new pickup over at TB:

It's a high output split coil P pup, that achieves its hotter signal not via more coil windings or fatter pole pieces, but by using a taller pickup, supposedly inspired by Strat pickups. They are supposed to have extended range top and bottom without the mid scoop of Quarter Pounders, yet still sound vintage.

Sounds intriguing so I just placed an order! Worked out about £70 all in due to ripoff postage costs from Canada, but similarly priced to many boutique pickups over here anyway and this one offers something a little different!
