Morning all. I thought I had all the basses I would ever need, none to be sold.
WRONG AGAIN
I have the chance of something rare and special. This is the only bass I have much chance of replacing second hand, so sacrifice it I must!
I hope 4candles won't mind me using his original advert (linked). I THINK, if you double click over the photos, it opens up on Photobucket, and you can zoom them there. Well, it does for me.
These are currently costing £1100 new, with gigbag.

It also includes the spec of this bass. It's relatively light at just under 9lbs.
I'm including a tatty but usable Hiscox hard case at no extra cost.

I would obviously prefer to meet up (free of charge) between say Penrith, Leeds and Brum.
However insured courier delivery, mainland UK, will be an extra £30.

It was Rich, and I'm gutted to sell it, but the one I've been offered, I had never even seen one until last night.
This is the only one of my basses I should be able to find a used replacement for.

I had one of these for a while. Best damn Jazz I've ever played - probably the best Fender, for that matter. Shame I'm not really a J man at heart. GLWTS.

Cheers Mr. Valdemar, splendid bass indeed and reluctant sale, but I just can't miss the chance I've been given.
Had a couple of clever dickies on FB have a pop at the price "for a Mex".
I know we don't talk price, but it's out at the same or a bit less than the last couple of RW's have been out at, and it does include a hard case.
When I sell something to fund the next "I've always wanted one of them" I always try to put it at a price fair to buyer AND seller.
They are over £1100 new now, with a gigbag, and used ones rarely hang around more than a few days.
I will miss it, but watch out for a NBD next week .

Get into Newcastle and try one Tom. Only thing is, this being one of the earlier ones it's quite light.
Reputedly after the first runs they put on a little weight.

Pretty much on hold from last night.
These basses very rarely hang around long. Possibly because they have a really good rep.
